Mondays – Fridays | 08:00 AM – 06:00 PM
What forms of payments do you accept?
Insurance plans we accept include Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim, United Behavioral Health, Humana, United Health Care, Optum, Champ VA, Tufts, Medicare, Cigna, Aetna, and UMR.
We also accept private pay, including debit and credit cards, cash, and Health Savings Account debit cards and checks. On request, we can provide you with what’s known as a Super Bill, so you can receive reimbursement from an out of network insurer.
Will my prescriptions be covered?
If you have insurance, your prescriptions will usually be covered, although copays can sometimes be high. If you do not have insurance for your prescriptions, we are familiar with the costs of medications and can advise on costs in your specific instance. We are familiar with cost savings plans offered by manufacturers and will assist patients in getting the most affordable medication by helping with paperwork and filling out forms.
How long are your appointments?
Plan on 60-90 minutes for your first appointment; subsequent medication management appointments are likely to run 20-30 minutes.
How frequent are the appointments?
Most people find that once their medication regimen is stable, they only want to check in every 2-3 months or so. If your condition is not stable, or if you prefer more frequent contact, appointments can be arranged more frequently.
What are your late and no-show policies?
Patients who are more than 15 minutes late will be considered no-shows. Late or no-show appointments will be billed half the cost of the appointment, as insurance allows. Repeated late arrivals or no-shows will result in referral to other provider(s) for services.
